Hamlet

Hamlet is about a prince named Hamlet whose father once was the king of his country. Until one day while he was sitting in the garden sleep someone poisoned him by pouring something in his ear.  So Hamlet is on a quest to find out who murder his father. He thinks it is his uncle Claudius who married and beds his mother as soon as his father died. He is the brother of the late king Hamlet and he just up’s and marries his mother, and also takes over the thrown as king.  Hamlets mother is Gurtrude. Hamlet is very angry with his mother because she only mourned his father for a month before remarrying his uncle. His mother is very disrespect towards Hamlets feelings about her and his uncle; they kiss in front of him in do other little stuff to get on his nerves. Hamlets best friend Heratio from college is one of the guards so he informs hamlet him and another guard has been seeing a ghost that looks exactly like his father. Hamlets father comes back as a ghost and tells him that his uncle Claudius killed him. This makes Hamlet fierce so Hamlets starts doing little devious thing to get the truth out of Claudius. Hamlets mother is afraid and so is Claudius so they try to send Hamlet away. Claudius was so afraid he sent to massagers along with Hamlet with a note say kill Hamlet, but Hamlet found the note and erase his name and put the to massagers.

Precious week 11

I feel like precious is very worthy of praise. She is a very strong girl that has a lot on her plate. With her mother and father both sexual and physical touching her, it’s just a lot for someone to bare let alone deal with. I feel like she doing good by going to school and trying to get an education even though she not as educated as a 16 year old should be. I give her props for putting up with all the bullshit her parents put her through. For a fact I know if I was in here situation I would be able to put up with the molesting or the beating.  Personal I would have report both of them to the police or worst tried to kill them. One thing I didn’t understand was why the doctors didn’t contact police when she told them that was her second baby from her father. The second thing I didn’t understand was why her mother had so much hatred for her only daughter, all that hate because of a man who didn’t care about her or his own daughter she was jealous and Beat her that’s crazy, and all this shows is that she a unstable parent and unstable in the head as well. As for precious teacher I feel she is very worthy of praise for standing up to her student and taking charge of helping them with their learning disabilities also  helping with their personal downfalls through  their writings in there journal.

Oedipus the king

Oedipus the king is about a king name Oedipus who move from his home in Corinth  to a place called Thebes because  it was said that he was going to marry and bed his mother and kill his father. So to prevent this he left Corinth and end up and Thebes.  On his journey to Thebes he came across some men who tried to run him off the road so he killed all of them except one. When he got to Thebes there was a lot of problem. One major problem was the sphinx, a monster with the body of a lion, wing, and the head and torso of a woman. After their king died the sphinx wouldn’t let anyone in or out the city unless someone could answer her riddle. “What can walk on four legs in the morning, on two legs at noon, and three legs in the evening?” those who couldn’t answer were killed and eaten. Oedipus came along and provided the answer (A human being), and saved the city. The sphinx committed suicide and sense there was a king the citizens named Oedipus the king of Thebes. Then he married the queen and had four children. Then One day things came crashing down for him when the citizens need help because they were ill and poor and the only way to stop the famish and the illnesses  was if they found the man who killed there king/ruler king laius. So Oedipus send his brother in law Creon to the gods to find some answers, it was answers he wanted in answers he got. To make a long story short Oedipus found out he was adopted he was giving to his adopted parents by a shepherd because a man gave him to the shepherd when he was little because his mother didn’t want him, because it was said that he was going to kill his father and marry and bed his mother. So when he was just days old she gave him to a messenger to be killed, but the messenger couldn’t kill him so he gave him to the shepherd thinking he would take him far away. So to make a long story short out the men he killed on his way to Thebes one of them was king Laius who was also his long lost father and the husband of Oedipus wife/queen who he had four kids with. So Oedipus queen was his wife and his mother. So when he found this out his wife/mom killed herself and Oedipus stabbed his eyes out and demands to be killed or thrown out of Thebes forever.
